5 Steps To Self Motivation

In this video, Brian breaks down 5 steps to self motivation that will get you fired up and will help keep you going until you succeed.

Here’s how to get the most from the 5 steps to self motivation video.

1 – Clear Written Goals: You must have a target. When you do ANYTHING, make sure you know your chosen outcome.

2 – Standards and Measures: Stop every now and then to see if what you’re doing is actually working.

3 – Success Experiences: The more you achieve goals, the more successful you feel. Setting small goals and achieving them gets you into the success habit.

4 – Acknowledgement: It’s always nice to have the praise of others. But if nobody else is doing it, make sure you give yourself a pat on the back.

5 – Rewards: Material things and money are the most popular and well received rewards. It doesn’t need to be from someone else, reward yourself. Remember to figure out what rewards you’ll give yourself when you initially set your goal.

Action Exercise:

Step 1: Select a goal or task you want to achieve and figure out what reward you’ll give yourself when you achieve it.

Step 2: Use the Roadblock Destroyer method to make sure you stay on track when you face problems.
